3) In this technique, run some water until it is quite hot, but not so hot that it will burn you. Soak a wash cloth in the warm water, lie down, and place the warm cloth on your eyes. Concentrate on thinking of pleasant things such as people, places, or things that bring you happiness. Thinking pleasant thoughts and using the warm cloth helps relax your eyes, which will allow them to become softer. The softness allows the eyes to go back into their sockets, eliminating stress and strain.
